Patchwork is often less difficult if you follow a few of these ideas:

- When chain piecing quilts, work with a “protection blanket” (a smallish piece of scrap cloth fabric) to start your piecing so the fabric and threads do not jam up when beginning to chain sew.

Trouble stitching with metallic thread and having numerous thread breaks? Try out lowering the thread tension.

Attach the tape-measure to the side to your sewing bench with self stick velcro for easy and quick easy access

Keep a little magnet inside your sewing basket. Use it to get any pins that fall on to the floor.

If stitching needles get corroded or dull, wipe them carefully with fine steel wool to bring them back to life.

Always leave some thread in a needle before placing it in a pin cushion. You will be able to spot it speedier.

Make use of fresh, dry plastic egg cartons to keep thread.

Store pattern pieces and their envelopes in self sealing bags so that you can understand the pattern.

When patch work pieces are accomplished, run doubled length of thread through a pile of patches, leaving the twisted end in the thread at the bottom of the stack. They will stay collectively and you will pull off each one of these when needed.

Before you stitch on buttons, coat the thread with wax. Simply run it around a candle several times. This will make the thread more powerful and helps getting it with the holes.

For thoroughly clean, sharp and handy pins and needles, use a covered steel wool pad as a pin cushion.

Keep a chopstick in your quilting basket for all poking and stuffing needs.

If you’re not certain that the seam is lying when you are quilt-making in the ditch, place a lamp or flashlight underneath the quilt and the seam allowances are easily seen.

When using pinking shears also have material involving the blades. Never close and open the cutters without fabric together, this will dull the cutting blades.

Use a low melt glue gun when you use net, tulle or sheer synthetic material. A hot glue gun will burn you and melt the fabric.

Keep soap slivers in the freezer to use as markers for quilts. This keeps soap hard and easier to use. Additionally, it washes out without delay

Avoid the frustration of threading frayed edges by folding thread in half, and pulling the smooth edge from the needle

To Open that trapped Zip: Rub the teeth with a bar of soap or spray with shaving cream.

Soap makes an ideal Pin Cushion: Make use of a bar of soap to make stitching easier and the needle just glides through hard fabric and materials.

Photography film storage containers are fantastic safe solution to store bent needles and pins.

To look at a quilt pattern well away, place the pieces on a backed table cloth, and hang it up anywhere to see what the quilt may be like completed.

Save your time and prevent eye strain by threading a number of needles on your quilting thread without cutting it off the reel.

Safety first! Never run holding sharp scissors or pins .

if you cut your self, be careful and do not bleed on the fabric

When ironing a bias strip turn off the steam on the iron so you will not burn your fingers.

Never ever use your sewing scissors for chopping paper; it blunts them.

Victor Harbour is the town located on the shore of the Fleurieu Peninsula, approximately eighty km towards the south of Adelaide, South Australia. Victor Harbour is the most significant population centre in the Fleurieu , with an economy based on farming, fisheries and a number of other industries. Victor Harbor is also a very well-liked holidaymaker location, with the city’s population greatly expanded throughout the time of the summer season and school holidays.

Granite Island is a common site for tourists. It is is connected to the mainland by a short tram / pedestrian causeway. The tram service is provided by the Victor Harbour Horse Drawn Tram, one of the very only a few horse-drawn tram passages still left in open public transportation service. Granite island is home to a significant colony of Fairy Penguins which are a favorite attraction on the island. These penguins shelter on the isle in the course of the night time, departing in the morning hours to look for sea food well before returning at sundown.

The Cockle Train heritage train run by SteamRanger operates steam locomotive and other old-fashioned train services between Victor Harbour and Goolwa rail stations. This rail way includes the oldest rail route in Australia, between Port Elliot and Goolwa.

Through the months of June to September, whale spotting is a well-known charm. Southern Right Whales appear to the close by seas to calve and mate. The South Australian Whale Centre located at Victor Harbour gives hands on fun activities and presentations as well as info and whale watching tips.

Greenhills Adventure Park offers fun-based activities including: water slides, canoing, rock wall clambering, archery, mini golf, and go-karting.

Victor Harbor is the centre of the surf area regarded as the “South Coast” to Adelaide and local surfers. Popular surfing beaches in the area include Parsons, Waitpinga, Middleton and Goolwa.

Victor Harbour also offers numerous fishing options varying from offshore reefs for larger boat based anglers to excellent surf-fishing on the beaches closer to the Murray Mouth.

Victor Harbor hosts a 3 day Schoolies Week festival in late November largely for South Australian school leavers. Victor Harbour hosts the second largest Schoolies Week Festival after the Gold Coast. The centre of the town is a dry zone and hosts diverse live music and other events for participants.

There is a wide selection of holiday accommodation options in and all around Victor Harbor but we prefer the Victor Apartments with 5 individual accommodation options:

Cheri-on-Sea: A large lovely bed and breakfast style apartment.

Adare: A gentle lavish, quite large two storey apartment with polished floorboards. It consists of only two bed rooms as well as a substantial studio room in which sleeps 4.

Castleview: A contemporary studio apartment with finished floor boards which consists of a king bed and if needed a queen bed positioned on an elevated floor.

View on Blue: This is a magnificent, fashionable upper floor of a 2 storey apartment with polished floorboards. It contains 2 bedrooms

Surfs Up: This particular cool seaside apartment has an open plan kitchen area, lounge dining area and passageway that will leads onto three bedrooms. It is entirely carpeted with a huge light and airy all-in-one kitchen with substantial bench tops.

Be sure to arrange to enjoy lovely Victor Harbor accommodation at Victor Apartments by contacting Julia on Telephone number: 8410 8189 Mobile phone: 0417 858 299

Port Lincoln is a sea side city on the southern region coastline of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.
It’s the biggest township in the area and also the place to find a large and prosperous tuna fishing fleet.
Agriculture is another major contributor to the region. Those two primary industries undeer-pin this town to success.

A trip the region suggests that you have got to know more about Port Lincoln’s accommodation choices.
Eventhough it is the largest community in the region Pt Lincoln is still fairly small which cuts down your holiday accommodation selections.

The main reason why the location has seen more tourists coming is because of the natural charm of the Eyre Peninsula coast.
Pt Lincoln is within comfortable driving distance of the many national parks on the peninsula so you can explore the fauna in their natural home.

As a coastal town, one of the more popular activities involve water. Surfing, diving, swimming, and fishing are all available here but you do also have the ability to explore the rugged cliffs and the natural beauty round the town.

When people travel to Australia they might have a list of things that they would like to see or do which are seen as being generally Aussie.
Lots of these are with certain wildlife and a trip to the Glen Forest Tourist Park means you can meet koalas, see kangaroos and view wombats. If you are more adventurous you could go swimming in a cage with great white sharks.

For eating out you are unable to perhaps have the same variety of cuisine to pick from in larger cities but what you do get tend to be fresh ingredients due to so much being cultivated in the area.
You need to of course benefit from the fact that the spot is the center of the fishing industry by tasting the seafood as you know it’s totally fresh right from the sea.

You may as well discover a lot of lifestyle of the region through various museums that talk about not only the peninsula but the country in general. They inform you the tale of the way the region grew through varied industries as well as how it was initially discovered and explored around the year 1801.

If you are considering Pt Lincoln accommodation we recommend the Port lincoln Holiday Homes

What Is A Residential Property Inspection?
A residential building inspection or home inspection is a complete and professional visual examination of the systems and structure of a home by a certified building inspector.
The primary reason for which is to identify existing and potential problems that may affect a buyer’s decision.

Do I Require a Home Inspection?
Purchasing a home is the most expensive purchase you will make. It makes sense therefore you have a potential purchase be inspected first which means you know everything about the it. Be it a house, condominium or town house, you need an inspection to successfully avoid surprise repairs and issues that may arise when you purchase. If you’re the vendor, you need an inspector to make sure that what you’re selling is up to spec, and to avoid complaints out of your buyer further on up the road about problems that have arisen.

Exactly what does An Inspection Include?
Inspections normally cover all major systems and structural elements of the house. Including, though not limited to, the health of a home’s cooling and heating systems, plumbing and electrical systems, the roof, the building blocks, insulation, walls, doors, attic, windows and all sorts of visible structures.

Should I Be Present During An Inspection?
You are not necessary to attend and inspection, though you’re recommended to go. By doing this, you can see for yourself what are the inspector finds. Rather than being surprised with a certain problem that you don’t grasp, if you are present during the inspection, the inspector can show you what’s wrong, what must be done, etc.

Just how long Does An Inspection Take?
Depending on the size and condition of a home, often a 2 bedroom condo or town house takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. For single family homes, 3 hours is the norm. Obviously, the larger the house is, and the poorer condition it’s in, the longer an inspection would take.

Can I Do The Inspection Myself?
You are able to, but even though you have knowledge about construction, then you still lack the complete knowledge needed to do an inspection on your own. Home inspectors undergo special training and have to pass through a certification test. Unless you are a certified building inspector, better leave the inspection towards the professionals.

In the present competitive world of business, companies count on effective promotion strategies using marketing and advertising campaigns to survive or sustain their advantage on the market. For first time firms, getting noticed along with standing out in a sea associated with brandnames and names is a difficult task.

Present companies as well need to showcase them selves frequently to retain brand name or company awareness inside the minds with their clients. Getting the company name or brand out in the open requires advertising activities like freely giving items that contains your logo or brand.

Standard corporate items like mugs, truck caps, pencils, paper weights, clocks and photo calendars may very well be functional but right now, their lack of novelty just isn’t an assurance that people will use them. Renew your organization image with the most recent trend in marketing special gifts, stubby holders.

Stubby holders are cylinders usually created from latex or neoprene, and are employed to maintain beer or stubbies cool. They come in various designs, measurements and colors and can be printed with various models which include color photographs or your business logo.

Here are a few of the benefits of giving away stubby holders:

Boost business or brand name recognition

Beer has long been one of the world’s most popular drinks. You will still see it everywhere-in pubs, bars, restaurants, the beach, around pools, picnics, outdoor or indoor activities, events, social events, and in homes. And in contrast to bubbly, wine or other alcoholic drink, people consume beer over summer and winter, whether there’s reason to celebrate. Now, picture your business name, brand name or logo across the favorite beer can, bottle or glass and you’ve got just the right marketing strategy for your business.

Maintain goodwill among clientele

People like to receive free gifts only when they’re appealing, novel and beneficial. The neoprene materials of those holders are simple to use, allowing you to create different types of holders and custom-printing your logo, design or message on them. Test them out in zippers, lids, bases, slim women’s styles, and wine bottle shapes. Get them in different tones and colours to complement the tastes of your clients. Professionals will welcome black and grey holders while youthful managers will really like the purple, magenta or aqua colours.

Save money for your company

Usually made from lightweight neoprene materials, stubby holders are low-cost but easily custom-designed using advanced printing technology. They’re sturdy and may become used again for some time, allowing you to get maximum exposure for the brand name.

Natural Limestone and Bathroom Renovations
If you simply can’t stand with the look of the bathroom, and you need to renovate it, think about the elegance of limestone.

If you intend a Do-it-yourself bathroom reconstruction we recommend you familiarise yourself the type of material and equipment required and a part of that is to take into consideration limestone as a natural feature in your new bathroom

If you are not comfortable the installation of natural stone you may think about using a builder or contractor for that part of the job to make sure you will get an optimal result.

When renovating your bath room also consider that some fixtures will not be changed without a major re-construction.
Another important things to think about is that when it comes to style be sure you coordinate with all the elements in your bath room, which naturally includes the kitchen sink, the floor, walls, lavatory etc.

Before you start to modernize your bath room it is necessary that you consider precisely what appearance you would like.
At first if you are undecided with the design you may end up hating the appearance, and it may be extremely hard and high priced to change it later without going through another restoration.

In addition take into account products that you’d like to use, including colour, texture and style. Keep mind, that various building materials such as wood is easily harmed if exposed to moisture if not prepared adequately beforehand . The best materials for a bathroom is a natural stone such as limestone .

There are several kinds of natural stone including slate, granite, sandstone, marble, travertine, and natural limestone. Each of these natural stones have their own properties and appearance, and this may also be affected on how they’re polished and cut.

The colour in natural stone warrants some interest too, as colour is among the more vital factors in making a mood in the bathroom. Lighter colours are very popular as this colour makes the room look fresh and large. While more dark colours can make a comforting mood or ambience .

Using a natural limestone is probably the better choices for bathroom design; Natural limestone features a natural luxury and style that makes it timeless with regards to design.

All of us want our bathrooms to be well furnished from a practical and style viewpoint and it should also be comfortable.

Natural limestone may also be used through the entire home to make a natural earthy look of sophistication

GPS tracking systems are designed for tracking both automobiles and people. Employed as part of a business’s fleet management strategy, they can improve effectiveness and reduce costs. They also enable a company to monitor its car or truck fleet, where ever they might be.

The technologies behind GPS Tracking systems have been adapted from cellular (GSM CDMA) systems and location specific (GPS) systems. GPS tracking uses a triangulation protocol between the source of the signal (ie the GPS vehicle tracking system installed in the fleet vehicles) and Low Earth orbit satellites in order to pinpoint a vehicle’s position within 12 inches.

The advantages of using vehicle tracking as a fleet management technique are numerous. Vehicle thefts cost insurance providers and businesses millions of dollars each year. GPS tracking systems are specifically designed to identify the vehicle’s movement and so can lead to a quick response and speedy recovery of a stolen vehicle, minimising financial costs and lowering the vehicle insurance premiums paid out by the business. Some vehicle insurance providers offer insurance discounts for vehicles fitted with GPS tracking systems, therefore the savings could add up to some considerable amount.

Fleet management is about maximising efficiency, reducing costs and maintaining excellent customer service. It’s also about your visible reputation out on the highway, particularly if your vehicles carry your company’s insignia or display your business name. Vehicle tracking systems can help in all these areas by making certain your drivers are taking the most efficient routes, are not squandering fuel by speeding excessively and are not damaging your company’s reputation by driving in a manner that portrays your company in a bad light. There is actually also a strong safety aspect attached to GPS systems, particularly in remote or hazardous locations.

GPS tracking can instantly alert a company to any difficulties or emergency situations. If a vehicle is involved in a road traffic accident, some GPS systems will alert the control centre instantly, and therefore emergency services can be mobilised rapidly, even to the most remote locations. They can act as a beacon for search and rescue teams if the vehicle has left the road and is hidden from plain sight. Thus giving drivers the assurance that their personal safety is being taken care of by the business, building a greater level of trust between drivers and management. This is also more likely to promote a healthier attitude to on-road use along with a more responsible approach to the job – not to mention contributing to health and safety responsibilities.

Vehicle tracking systems are simple to install and cost effective, making them simple to include in an overall fleet management strategy. Because the technologies is now commonplace, you will find systems that are ideal for fleets of any size – from a small business running only a couple of vans to a large fleet with different types of vehicles.

Modern technology, including GPS tracking systems, have been made to make driving more efficient and safer. It is especially relevant to fleet management and may help a business run its fleet much more efficiently than in earlier years. From safety issues through to assisting a new driver become familiar with the most efficient routes and vehicle security, GPS tracking should be thought about to be an essential part of fleet management.
